True Irish Pub. If you are looking for that authentic experience this is your place. They open as early as 0600 for "Football" matches. Their Guinness pour is perfect. The service is always fast. Highly recommend.

Maggies has been a great addition to North Beach. Over 17 years, this bar has been the preferred destination for all over 21 yo. They frequently open as early as 6 am to watch Soccer games live. Otherwise, they are open daily from 11 am to 2 am. This is family owned by an Irish family. Most of the staff are Irish. They always greet new faces warmly. The locals love this bar during the day. They schedule great bands for live music and dancing on Fridays and Saturday nights. Service is always timely and polite. Only restriction is no talking on cellphones at the bar. Take it outside. They have a wonderful covered and heated park let. They have a dart board in the back bar. Feel free to request darts from the bartender. I have always been greeted and treated like family here. Claire makes a bomb martini! They also have the best Guinness in the city. There are so many reasons to come to Maggies. Put it on your must visit list weekly for locals and when visiting SF. I bumped into someone in Sacramento for a conference last night. He drove all the way to SF to visit this bar. He said it was worth it. Always a great experience!

This bar is usually great however I came for karaoke night and let me say that this persons song book is out dated and when I offered to tip $15 for my song she refused to even look it up. What a missed opportunity. If they can't get it together then they shouldn't be working there. Apparently they don't like money and it might be time to retire and let some fresh talent come through. The bartender Noah is amazing and is always a pleasure. But on karaoke night of you can't star current with the music then take several seats and stay home girl. Ain't nobody here for any of that and on top everything she had an attitude. Bye girl! But aside from that nonsense please come see Noah! He's the best bartender in north beach!

The Sunday bartender is soooooo hot!!!! Andy is the best. Super nice and super cute. Very easy to talk to and always makes me feel welcome. He makes the best Aperol spritz too. Make sure to ask for Andy when you visit!!

Great staff and atmosphere. We went to watch an early afternoon football match (soccer) and had a great time. We were expecting food, but they do not offer food; however, there are several nearby restaurants and they allow you to bring your food in with you. The beer was fresh and chilled properly, and they know how to make a traditional Irish Shandy. A great place to stop for a pint and enjoy yourself.

Went barhopping with a group and this was one of our favorite spots. Great bands played on both nights we visited and the bar is roomy with beautiful murals. Minimum charge of $20 to use a card, but the bartender waved it for me the first night. This is a spot to either have cash or have an open tab for multiple drinks, not just a one and done. Definitely coming back.

An Irish pub just in time for St. Patricks day. Lots of indoor outdoor seating, in a safe and fun neighborhood with live music. St Patricks Day. Thats a big drinking day. You'll want to go to a place where drinks aren't that expensive - just in case things get out of hand. It falls on a Sunday so you might want to get started early in case you have work the next morning. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The parklet outside is spacious and is great if you want some fresh air. Its the smoking zone - although I'm not sure if its officially supposed to be. Don't tell anybody. North Beach is a safe and fun neighborhood. Party lights line the street and it puts people in a very good mood. Police station is just across the street and thats why I'm thinking there really isn't any trouble around here - car break ins included. Live music is great. Adds a little to the ambiance - afterward get some Golden Boy. That hits the spot for the nights you've had too much.
